Size limit on guides?

Puppenizer,
I was just curious to know if there is a size limit on guides. (i.e. Level 1-80 - Starting zone to Northrend)
Also, is there a possibility to add a future feature where you can link multiple guides?

No, there are no limits regarding the size of guides, so it would be possible to create a level 1-80 guide. But I always recommend not to do so for the following reasons:
a) At download all the guides are assembled on-the-fly to ensure the usage of the newest data out of the quest database. A level 1-80 guide would have a few thousand quests resulting in an assemble time of 2-3 minutes at least.
b) the 'psychologic' side - never give the player the feeling that he has to move whole mountains to reach his goal. A casual player will have to spend a few weeks (or even months) to completely build up an avatar - so give him the chance to experience some 'ahhh, completed that' success in between. I would always love to get my work done in chunks rather than trying to solve a never ending story.
To accomplish the all-in-one feeling there will be an option to link guides together (even cross-author) to build up guide series.
I'm glad you made you guides public again *thumbsup*. Because of patch day there were 'a lot' of people visiting the site during the last 24 hours - even if your guides are not spruced up right now they give users the chance to try the addon in action. I will surely add some features for guide authors to permit other project members to edit their guides (all seperated - edit structure, edit descriptions, etc.). So you might take the chance to get your guides polished by some other users one day (you just have to to hold back your perfectionist part a few weeks, which might be a difficult task anyway
