How about that movie

I gotta say I really love the movie you made. Both the concept and the implementation are interesting and funny.
Can I ask what tools you used and how much time it took to get it done?

For the recording stuff I used Fraps. I tested a few of the screen recording tools out there, and I made the experience that Fraps doesn't lower the framerate as much as most of the other tools seem to do. But I guess that heavily depends on the hardware you use, and mine is pretty old
The editing / recoding work was done using virtualDub in conjunction with AviSynth. These tools might be a bit confussing to people with no or little scripting experience, but once you get used to it you will be able to handle most of your 'day-to-day video editing' subjects.
The footage recording took me about half a day (also to find out what I want to focus on). Editing was done in two days, but consider the resulting clip to be more of a temporary solution to fill the gap of a video presentation. I will surely release some more video clips for the tutorial section as it seems to be a great way to get people's attention and to show the addon in it's full glory
